The Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) has opened up applications for the Zain AL Mubadara Initiative. Entrepreneurs who are ready to scale their startups can now apply.
Ahmad Ibrahim, the program designer at ZINC Jordan made the announcement on his LinkedIn page a few days ago.

Interested applicants should ask themselves these important questions before applying:

We’re looking for technology-driven ideas and startups that can scale and create impact. If your idea or startup doesn’t leverage technology, this program might not be the right fit.
▪️ Does Your Idea or Startup Bring Something New?
Avoid copycat businesses with no added value. Your idea or startup should solve a real problem, introduce innovation, or improve an existing solution in a meaningful way.
▪️ Is Your Business Scalable with Regional or International Potential?
We’re not just looking for small, local projects—we want startups with the potential to expand regionally and globally. If your business model can grow beyond Jordan, this is the program for you!
▪️ Do You Have Relevant Experience?
You don’t need to be an expert, but having some background in your industry will increase your chances of success. If you lack expertise, are you resourceful enough to learn quickly or bring the right people on board?
▪️ Are You Passionate and Resilient?
Building a startup is not easy—there will be challenges along the way. Passion and resilience are key traits we look for in entrepreneurs who won’t give up when things get tough.
▪️ Can You Work Within a Team?
Even solo founders need a strong support system. If you can’t collaborate, delegate, and build a team around you, it will be tough to scale your business.
▪️ Are You Ready to Commit?
At least one team member must be fully dedicated to working on the idea throughout the program. We need founders who are serious about turning their idea into reality.

Understanding your market, competitors, and what makes your idea stand out is crucial. If you don’t know who you’re building for and why they’d choose you, it’s time to do some research before applying.
