
A Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) delegation led by NCA Governor Eng. Majid Al-Mazyad attended today the 3rd meeting of the GCC Cybersecurity Ministerial Committee in Doha, Qatar.
The meeting brought together heads of cybersecurity authorities from GCC member states and Secretary-General Jassim Albudaiwi.
The Ministerial Committee adopted the Gulf strategy for cybersecurity and approved the launch of the “cyber threat information sharing platform in GCC countries“.
Note that it is a project spearheaded by the Saudi Information Technology Company and the Global Cybersecurity Forum Institute.
Discussions covered a range of initiatives submitted by GCC countries to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation across the Gulf.
These include joint cyber exercises by member states to bolster cyber readiness and facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices.
