Mrabet Digitizes Meal Planning for Tunisians

Mohammed Achraf Mrabet, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ukla, is using his skills to serve the good people of Tunisia.

Having always been attentive to the well-being of his fellow citizens, he developed a meal-planning system that aims to promote healthy eating.

Founded in 2022, his food technology startup, Ukla is a meal planning app. It offers various features to help its users organize their weekly meals, get nutritional advice, and easily prepare new recipes with detailed step-by-step instructions.

Once meals are planned, the app automatically generates the list of necessary ingredients, making it easier to organize shopping.

The startup’s mission is to make healthy eating accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

“ We are passionate about helping people take control of their nutrition to achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being. With Ukla, you can avoid junk food and eliminate the mental effort of thinking about recipes, portions, and diets,” Mrabet wrote on his LinkedIn account.

Mohamed Achraf Mrabet is a graduate of the Private Higher School of Engineering and Technology (ESPRIT) in Tunisia, where he obtained a degree in computer engineering in 2023.

To gain experience, in 2021 he did an internship at TSF Innovations, an IT development company, as a web developer. Between 2021 and 2022, he was also project manager of Engineers Spack Esprit, a student club that promotes innovation and creation among students.
