
NVIDIA and Meta announced a multiyear AI infrastructure partnership to deploy Blackwell and Rubin GPUs, Grace CPUs, and advanced networking across hyperscale data centers.
The collaboration will support Meta’s long-term AI roadmap through the construction of hyperscale data centers optimized for both training and inference workloads. As part of the agreement, Meta plans large-scale deployments of NVIDIA CPUs and millions of next-generation GPUs, including the Blackwell and Rubin architectures.

The partnership also includes the integration of NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X Ethernet networking into Meta’s Facebook Open Switching System (FBOSS), strengthening AI-scale connectivity across its global infrastructure footprint.

Meta and NVIDIA are continuing their collaboration on deploying Arm-based NVIDIA Grace CPUs across Meta’s production data centers, targeting improved performance per watt as part of Meta’s long-term energy efficiency strategy.
The initiative marks the first large-scale Grace-only deployment, supported by joint codesign and software optimization efforts aimed at enhancing CPU ecosystem libraries and driving generational performance gains.
The companies are also preparing for the future deployment of NVIDIA Vera CPUs, with a potential large-scale rollout beginning in 2027, further expanding Meta’s energy-efficient AI compute capabilities and supporting broader adoption of the Arm ecosystem.
Meta will deploy NVIDIA GB300-based systems as part of a unified architecture spanning on-premises data centers and NVIDIA Cloud Partner environments. The approach is designed to streamline operations while maximizing scalability and performance.
Across its infrastructure, Meta has adopted NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking to enable predictable, low-latency AI workloads while improving system utilization and power efficiency.
Beyond performance, the partnership extends into privacy-enhanced AI capabilities. Meta has implemented NVIDIA Confidential Computing to support private AI processing within WhatsApp, enabling secure AI-powered features while preserving data confidentiality and integrity.
The companies are now working to expand confidential computing capabilities beyond WhatsApp into additional use cases across Meta’s portfolio, supporting the deployment of privacy-centric AI at scale.
Engineering teams from both companies are engaged in extensive hardware-software codesign to optimize Meta’s state-of-the-art AI models. By combining NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform with Meta’s large-scale production workloads, the partnership aims to deliver higher efficiency and performance for AI systems used by billions globally.
