Under the initiative, recipients in Egypt can also earn financial rewards of up to EGP 700. In addition, customers who receive the highest number of transfers during the campaign will have a chance to win return flight tickets between Cairo and Amman.
The offer will run until 30 June 2026 and is aimed at promoting secure, seamless, and cost-effective remittance services through digital wallets.
Orange Jordan said the move reflects its broader strategy to expand financial inclusion and improve access to digital financial services. The company continues to position itself as a key player in delivering reliable and innovative payment solutions across local and international markets.
The initiative builds on a series of recent customer-focused offerings from Orange Money, including cashback promotions of up to 10% on Visa card transactions during peak retail periods such as Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Mother’s Day. The company has also introduced “Tahweesheh,” a savings feature designed to give users greater flexibility in managing their finances.
Why Orange Money Matters to MENA
The introduction of zero-fee cross-border transfers highlights the growing role of digital wallets in reshaping remittance flows across MENA. By reducing costs and simplifying transactions, services like Orange Money are expanding financial inclusion, particularly for migrant workers and cross-border families.
The move also signals increasing competition in the region’s digital payments space, where telecom operators and fintech firms are racing to offer faster, cheaper, and more integrated financial services. As adoption rises, mobile wallets are becoming a key driver of MENA’s transition toward a cashless, digitally connected economy.
