Spring Venture Services has kicked off Cohort 9 of its flagship program, Raise: The Art of Fundraising, with the support of Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
The two-week intensive bootcamp is designed to equip Bahraini startup founders with essential fundraising skills, offering interactive workshops, fireside chats, and personalized mentorship.
Aligned with Tamkeen’s 2025 strategy, the program supports enterprise growth and digitization while enhancing the competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector.
How Raise is Preparing Founders for the Big Pitch
Raise is structured to prepare participating startups to showcase their businesses at the ongoing StartUp Bahrain Pitch Series.
Founders will refine their pitches, strengthen business models, and gain direct access to MENA investors, opening doors to funding and long-term growth opportunities.
The pitch series, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Tamkeen, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), and StartUp Bahrain, will conclude with a winning startup receiving a cash prize and potential follow-on support from program partners.
This year’s lineup features 10 startups: Unlabelled, Lamma, Thoubify App, Wajba, Jaras, Sirati, Benyany, FHD Technology, Esbitar, and WeFit.
Through Raise, Bahrain continues to strengthen its startup ecosystem by empowering founders with the skills, tools, and investor connections needed to scale regionally and globally.
