Saudi-based Aumet raises $12 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered healthcare procurement and supply chain platform across MENA.
The round also included participation from SABAH.fund, AAIC, existing investors, and strategic healthcare backers.
Founded by Yahya Aqel and Adel Haddad, Aumet develops digital infrastructure for healthcare procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations across pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare systems.
The company’s cloud-based platform combines inventory management tools, marketplace infrastructure, and AI-driven procurement automation. Its “Pulse” platform integrates procurement and inventory operations for pharmacies and multi-branch healthcare networks.
Aumet has also developed an AI-powered procurement operating system designed for hospitals, ministries of health, and large healthcare institutions. The company said its enterprise platform was first deployed at Al-Basheer Hospital in Jordan before expanding through partnerships with Jordan’s Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The rollout also includes collaboration with Presight to support the expansion of AI-powered procurement systems across public healthcare infrastructure.

Yahya Aqel, chief executive of Aumet, said the company aims to improve procurement decision-making across healthcare supply chains through AI and automation technologies. Ghassan from Emkan Capital said the investment reflects confidence in Aumet’s potential to build digital infrastructure for healthcare procurement in emerging markets.
The funding will be used to expand Aumet’s AI capabilities, scale its Pulse platform internationally, increase enterprise deployments, and support expansion into additional GCC markets.
The investment comes as healthcare providers across the MENA region increasingly adopt digital systems to improve operational efficiency, inventory visibility, and procurement management.
Why Aumet Funding Matters to MENA
The growth of Aumet reflects increasing demand across the MENA region for digitized healthcare infrastructure and AI-driven supply chain management.
Hospitals, pharmacies, and public healthcare systems across the region continue to face procurement inefficiencies, fragmented inventory systems, and rising operational costs.
The company’s expansion also highlights how governments and healthcare providers are turning to automation, predictive analytics, and centralized procurement platforms to improve healthcare delivery and strengthen supply chain resilience.
