Career 180 Secures Den VC Investment to Expand EdTech Reach

Egypt-based edtech platform Career 180 has secured a six-figure investment from U.S.-based Den VC, fueling its expansion into Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Malta.

The funding will support scaling its Learning Management System (LMS), localizing course content into Arabic, and enhancing its market presence in these regions.

Co-founded in 2017 by Shrouk Alaa El Din and Mohamed Akmal, Career 180 offers practical skills training and job-matching services through a SaaS-based LMS.

The platform aims to qualify over 1 million individuals and plans to place 50,000 new beneficiaries into the workforce, focusing particularly on unemployed youth.

“Building Career 180 has been more than just a business for me; it’s been a mission. I truly believe that every young person deserves to find their path and succeed, no matter where they start,” said Shrouk Alaa El Din, Co-founder of Career 180.

Den VC’s Managing Partner, Walid Khalil, expressed confidence in the team’s vision and execution capabilities, emphasizing the investment’s alignment with scalable, tech-driven solutions that have sustainable economic and social impact.
