Done.ma has raised USD 2.1 million in a seed round backed by local and business angel investors. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate its journey toward becoming a homegrown super app, extending far beyond food delivery.
“From the beginning, our ambition was to build a super app that simplifies people’s lives and shows that Morocco can produce tech solutions competitive at an international level,” said Mohamed El Ghaissani, founder of Done.ma.
The milestone aligns with Morocco’s national digital transformation strategy, which aims to accelerate socioeconomic development by ensuring inclusive access to essential digital services by 2030.

Designed with a hyperlocal model for Moroccan and African consumers, the company has already established operations across eight regions, supported by 90 team members, 1,000+ retail and restaurant partners, and 500 delivery ambassadors.
With the new funding, Done.ma will expand into major Moroccan cities, strengthen its logistics and infrastructure, and broaden its product portfolio.
Upcoming features include Done Stores, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), quick commerce, and marketplace services. The company also emphasizes its role in digital inclusion by creating jobs, improving access to services, and enhancing affordability.
This expansion comes as the super app market in MENA and Africa is projected to exceed USD 30 billion by 2030, positioning Done.ma to place Morocco on the map as a regional tech hub.
