EFFY Ignites Saudi Arabia’s AI Revolution with New Riyadh HQ

EFFY launches its Riyadh HQ, investing SAR 100M to boost Saudi Arabia’s AI ecosystem and empower local industries through innovation and automation.

EFFY, the Portuguese-born innovator behind AI-powered business efficiency tools, has officially opened its regional headquarters in Riyadh, marking a bold commitment to Saudi Arabia’s growing AI ecosystem. The launch event, hosted by Dr. Nuno Mathias, Portugal’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, underscored its belief in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 digital transformation drive.

The company plans to invest around SAR 100 million in the Saudi market over the next three years, funding tech transfer, local talent development, and strategic partnerships. The expansion is also expected to create over 100 specialised jobs, strengthening the Kingdom’s emerging innovation hub.

Its platform blends advanced analytics, generative AI, and hyper-automation to help organisations boost efficiency and productivity. According to the company, its solutions can raise process efficiency by up to 30%, enhance productivity by 40%, and significantly cut operational errors.

Already, EFFY has made notable progress in Saudi Arabia through partnerships with the National Water Company and Specialized Najran Hospital, proof, says CEO José Xavier, that “business efficiency intelligence” can yield tangible impact when organisations invest in robust digital foundations.

“Our mission in Saudi Arabia is to help organisations operate smarter and stronger, fully aligned with Vision 2030’s goals of innovation, transparency, and sustainability,” Xavier said.

EFFY’s Vice President for the Middle East, Hythem Elrakaybi, added that the new Riyadh HQ represents “more than regional expansion, it’s a long-term pledge to co-create innovation with Saudi businesses.”

EFFY’s cross-industry approach, spanning healthcare, logistics, energy, and retail, reflects a commitment to building localised, human-centric AI solutions. Rather than exporting ready-made systems, EFFY aims to collaborate with Saudi enterprises to shape sustainable digital transformation.

Founded in 2017, it began in healthcare tech and has since evolved into a multi-sector AI powerhouse with operations in Portugal, the U.S., Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

In essence, EFFY’s Riyadh move signals something bigger than expansion; it marks Saudi Arabia’s shift from tech consumer to global AI co-creator. And that, frankly, feels like the start of a new chapter in the region’s innovation story.
