In a strategic move to champion sustainable innovation, Flat6Labs has invested in Saudi-based biotech startup Green Desert Technologies through its Startup Seed Fund as part of Cycle 5 of the Riyadh Seed Program.

Co-founded by Abdulmajeed Hashem, Omar Hashem, and Ashley Pursglove, Green Desert Technologies is on a mission to revolutionize bio-manufacturing in desert environments.

Sustainable solutions like algae cultivation to help solve challenges around food security, climate resilience, and biotechnology, especially in arid regions like Saudi Arabia.
