The hub was inaugurated by Sanjiv Puri, Chairman and Managing Director of ITC Ltd and Chairman of ITC Infotech, and is designed to support enterprises pursuing large-scale digital transformation. It will focus on digital engineering, artificial intelligence–led innovation, cloud services, automation, and platform-based solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, agility, and scalability.
The Riyadh facility strengthens ITC Infotech’s regional delivery capabilities at a time when demand for advanced digital and AI services is accelerating across the Gulf. Saudi Arabia, in particular, has emerged as a key growth market as government agencies and private enterprises invest heavily in technology to modernise operations and build globally competitive digital infrastructure.
“Our expansion in Riyadh reflects ITC Infotech’s long-standing commitment to the Middle East and our confidence in the region’s digital growth trajectory,” Vishal Kumar, President and Regional Head for the Middle East, Africa, India, and Asia-Pacific at ITC Infotech, said in a statement. “The new Digital & AI Engineering Hub will enable us to work more closely with our clients, deliver advanced technology solutions at scale, and support Saudi Arabia’s ambition of building an innovation-led economy.”

The move aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 programme, which prioritises digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the development of a knowledge-based economy. Technology services providers are increasingly positioning Saudi Arabia as both a delivery and innovation hub, rather than solely a client market.
ITC Infotech said the new centre will also play a role in supporting Saudization efforts by developing local talent and building advanced digital capabilities within the Kingdom. The company plans to cultivate a skilled workforce in Saudi Arabia capable of delivering expertise-led solutions for clients across the Middle East.
By expanding its engineering and AI capabilities in Riyadh, ITC Infotech aims to deepen collaboration with regional customers, shorten delivery cycles, and provide faster access to specialized digital skills. The company said the investment will help create a sustainable ecosystem that supports innovation, enhances service delivery, and enables enterprises to scale digital initiatives more efficiently across the region.
Why ITC Infotech Matters to MENA
The launch of ITC Infotech’s Digital & AI Engineering Hub in Riyadh highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a regional center for advanced digital and artificial intelligence services. As Gulf economies accelerate investments in cloud, automation, and AI under national transformation programs, global technology firms are increasingly shifting from sales-led operations to local engineering and delivery hubs. This move supports talent development, strengthens digital sovereignty, and positions the Kingdom as a key exporter of high-value technology services across the Middle East.
