A Qatar-based healthtech company specializing in AI-driven healthcare solutions, Lillia, has received a $1.7 million grant from the Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council.

The funding will support the development of a digital twin technology for chronic conditions, enhancing real-time monitoring and predictive capabilities to improve healthcare outcomes.

Founded in 2020 by Sujit Chakrabarti, Lillia was formed through the 2024 merger of Qatar’s Droobi Health and India’s Smit.fit. The company provides an AI-powered platform designed for healthcare providers, insurance companies, enterprises, and the public sector to effectively manage chronic diseases.
