MilkStraw AI Raises $2 Million to Scale AI-Driven Cloud Management Platform

Emirati startup MilkStraw AI has raised $2 million in a seed round led by VentureSouq to expand its AI-powered cloud management tools across MENA and global markets.

MilkStraw AI, an Emirati artificial intelligence startup building tools to manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round as demand grows for smarter ways to rein in escalating cloud costs.

The round was led by VentureSouq, with participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital, according to the company. The funding comes as enterprises across the Middle East and beyond increasingly turn to AI-powered solutions to manage complex cloud environments and improve operational efficiency.

Founded roughly 16 months ago, MilkStraw AI develops software that helps engineering teams monitor, optimise, and control cloud infrastructure spending using artificial intelligence. The startup had previously raised about $600,000, enabling it to accelerate early product development and customer acquisition.

MilkStraw AI said the new capital will be used to speed up product development and scale operations, with several new features already in the pipeline. These include The Feed, a real-time insights interface, a Right Sizing service designed to optimise cloud resource usage, and an interactive AI layer that allows users to manage cloud infrastructure through natural language commands.

The company aims to reduce the technical complexity associated with cloud optimisation, an area that has become increasingly critical as organisations face rising infrastructure costs and growing system complexity.

With backing from VentureSouq and its strategic partners, MilkStraw AI plans to expand its footprint across the Middle East and North Africa, while laying the groundwork for a broader international rollout.

The investment underscores continued investor interest in AI-driven enterprise infrastructure tools, particularly those addressing cost efficiency and automation challenges in cloud computing.

Why MilkStraw AI Matters to MENA

Cloud spending has surged globally, putting pressure on companies to find smarter ways to control costs without sacrificing performance. AI-led optimization platforms like MilkStraw AI are emerging as critical infrastructure for modern tech teams—especially in fast-growing markets such as MENA, where cloud adoption is accelerating, but cost discipline remains a priority.
