Yesterday was the grand opening of Big 5 Construct Qatar, INDEX Design Qatar and Cityscape Qatar.
The Minister of Commerce and Industry, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al Thani officiated the opening at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Qatar News Agency announced the inauguration on its website via a statement. The statement reads, “HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani inaugurated Sunday the ‘Big 5 Construct Qatar’ exhibition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
“Following the inauguration, His Excellency toured various sections and booths, where he was introduced to the latest technologies and services provided by companies and institutions in the construction sector.

“The exhibition serves as an important platform highlighting various aspects of the construction industry. It offers an ideal environment to showcase all stages of the building materials procurement process, from start to finish.

The event brought together Qatar’s construction, design and real estate sectors. It features over 250 brands and showcasing products, services, systems and solutions, Big 5 Construct Qatar and INDEX Design Qatar support Qatar’s economic growth and urban development in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The events, running until 15 October, are expected to attract thousands of professionals, investors and decision-makers, creating an invaluable platform for industry collaboration.
