The OQ Accelerator is accepting applications from energy or sustainability startups until October 31st.
This 2024 accelerator cohort supports startups addressing Oman’s energy challenges with innovative, sustainable solutions, focusing on local needs and global scalability.
According to their website, the vision is to “Deliver exceptional value to Oman and OQ by supporting startups that create innovative and sustainable solutions for Oman & the world’s energy challenges.”
Successful applicants get to be a part of the program in two different phases or paths.
The first path is a 3-month Pre-Accelerator for early-stage concepts, and the second is a 6-month Accelerator for startups with functioning prototypes or initial customer traction.
Benefits include grants of up to $50,000, potential follow-on investments of up to $500,000, and over $250,000 in partnership perks.
