Perle, a Web3-powered AI training data platform, has secured $9 million in seed funding led by Framework Ventures to launch Perle Labs, a crypto-native ecosystem aimed at redefining how humans contribute to AI model development.
The platform will offer transparent payments, on-chain attribution, and verifiable work histories for contributors, while enabling AI developers to access high-quality, diverse, and verified datasets.
By decentralizing data input, the firm hopes to tackle one of AI’s biggest challenges—its reliance on limited and often biased datasets.

“As AI models grow more sophisticated, their success hinges on handling the long tail of rare and context-specific scenarios,” said Ahmed Rashad, CEO of Perle.
“Decentralizing this process can unlock global participation, reduce bias, and dramatically improve performance.”
The self-serve platform supports the full AI development lifecycle, from multimodal data collection (audio, image, video) to reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) and assistant fine-tuning, combining human expertise with adaptive workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
