Plantafarm secured first place in the startup pitch competition at Web Summit Qatar, highlighting growing investor interest in agri-tech solutions tailored to the Middle East’s climate challenges.

Founded in Canada, the startup participated through Startup Saudi under the Invest Saudi platform, with support from the Sanabel programme run by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The backing positioned Plantafarm on a national stage, increasing its visibility among regional investors and policymakers.
