UAE-based HR technology startup Professional.me has raised USD 3.1 million in seed funding, led by Raha Beach Ventures.
Founded in 2024 by Ryan Adams, Mgean Adam, and Matt Schmid, the platform is pioneering the use of AI-driven micro-LLMs to transform how companies hire and manage talent.
Unlike traditional recruitment tools, Professional.me replaces résumés and job descriptions with context-aware micro-LLMs trained individually for both employers and candidates.
These models are designed to capture nuance, enabling smarter, faster, and more human hiring decisions.
“We’re not digitizing résumés, we’re replacing them entirely. Every company and candidate gets a context-aware micro-LLM that understands what truly drives success, beyond titles and keywords,” said Ryan Adams, CEO of Professional.me.

Professional.me is Scaling Across EMEA
With fresh funding, the startup plans to expand its engineering team, strengthen data and research partnerships, and scale its reach to employers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
By moving beyond keyword-based screening, Professional.me aims to solve one of recruitment’s biggest challenges: superficial matches that lead to missed opportunities.
Instead, its technology builds predictive success profiles to create deeper, more meaningful connections between talent and employers.
“We’re rethinking hiring from the ground up — not by adding filters, but by restructuring how information is captured and understood. AI should make hiring smarter, more inclusive, and more human,” Adams added.
