Qatar Museums Partners with Microsoft to Enhance Visitor Experiences

To revolutionize visitor experiences, Qatar Museums (QM) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Microsoft.

The MoU was signed at the Web Summit in Qatar, where global tech leaders gathered to promote innovation. This partnership will utilize Microsoft’s services, including Azure, to enhance the Smart Museums Experience. It will also leverage Microsoft’s AI digital center to explore innovative applications of AI, AR, and VR technologies in QM exhibits.

Building on their previous collaboration that enabled The National Museum of Qatar’s migration to the Microsoft Cloud, the renewed partnership aims to enhance visitor engagement through augmented, virtual, and mixed-reality experiences, allowing immersive journeys through Qatar’s cultural heritage.
