

Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has invested in US-based AI safety and research company Anthropic, joining its record-breaking USD 13 billion Series F funding round.
The round was led by ICONIQ and co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Lightspeed Venture Partners, alongside participation from a wide roster of global heavyweights including BlackRock, Blackstone, General Atlantic, TPG, and Singapore’s GIC.
“From Fortune 500 companies to AI-native startups, our customers rely on Anthropic’s frontier models and platform products for their most important, mission-critical work,” said Krishna Rao, Chief Financial Officer of Anthropic.
