Spoilz Secures Funding to Expand Gaming Experiences

Saudi game development studio Spoilz has secured new investment with participation from Merak Capital, Impact46, and other investors, strengthening its ability to expand development and LiveOps operations, create globally competitive mobile titles, and attract top gaming talent to the Kingdom.

Founded in 2020 by Musab Almalki, Spoilz has quickly established itself as a rising force in the regional gaming industry. Known for bite-sized, immersive experiences such as viral hits Climb Up #3D and #Break ’Em All, as well as the chart-topping word game Last Letter, the studio blends cultural relevance with global appeal.

Spoilz is also expanding beyond mobile into PC, console, and smart TV platforms, while offering B2B and LiveOps services tailored to MENA markets. These include market analysis, UI/UX, localisation, and player engagement strategies.

Backed by AI-enhanced development pipelines, Spoilz positions itself as both a content creator and a service provider capable of scaling IP across platforms.

“This investment is a major leap forward for Spoilz,” said Musab Almalki, CEO and Founder. “We’re building more than games; we’re building experiences that connect with everyday players while reflecting the creativity and identity of our region.

“With Merak Capital’s support, we’ll level up our development pipeline, grow our LiveOps offering, and bring Saudi-born mobile games to the world stage.”
