Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Jaber, it is redefining how restaurants and cafés operate by introducing the concept of an AI Agentic Point of Sale, a next-generation system where intelligent AI agents act as digital teammates to help restaurants scale efficiently without losing quality or control.
TabSense, Reimagining the PoS as a Smart Growth Engine
Unlike traditional PoS systems that simply process transactions, its AI-driven platform uses autonomous agents to manage complex restaurant workflows. These agents streamline day-to-day operations, optimize menus, automate management tasks, and deliver real-time insights, effectively transforming the PoS into a strategic growth engine for food businesses.
The platform enables restaurant owners and managers to run leaner, smarter operations, cutting down back-office costs while improving decision-making through intelligent automation.

“We built the company to give restaurant operators more than just a PoS; we built an intelligent teammate,” said Mohammed Jaber, Co-founder and CEO of TabSense. “Our AI agents handle the complex, time-consuming parts of management, from menu optimization to understanding customer behavior — so owners can focus on growth and quality.”
What’s Next for TabSense
With the fresh funding, TabSense plans to:
- Accelerate product innovation and AI development
- Expand regional sales and partnerships
- Grow its full-stack engineering and AI teams to enhance its agentic intelligence framework
Currently, the platform serves multi-branch and franchise restaurants and cafés across Saudi Arabia and Jordan, with plans to expand regionally and internationally in the coming year.
The startup’s success underscores a broader shift in the MENA region toward AI-native business solutions. As restaurants face rising operational costs and increased customer expectations, AI-driven systems like TabSense are becoming essential to improving efficiency and scalability.
The company’s approach blends automation, data, and machine learning not only to manage but also to intelligently grow restaurant businesses, positioning TabSense at the forefront of the AI-powered FoodTech revolution emerging from Saudi Arabia.
