Duaya Acquires EXMGO to Drive Pharmacy Digitization in Egypt

Duaya, Egypt’s fast-growing digital healthcare transformation company, has acquired SaaS provider EXMGO in a six-figure investment deal (value undisclosed).

The acquisition marks a major step in advancing pharmacy digitization and e-commerce solutions in Egypt, reinforcing the firm’s role as a key player in the regional healthtech landscape.

Founded in 2021 by Dr. Ahmed Fazara, Duaya partners with more than 500 medical suppliers and manufacturers, serving over 12,000 clients that include pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and laboratories.

With a growth rate surpassing 200%, the company has demonstrated the scalability of its model and is now targeting 25,000 clients by the end of this year, alongside planned expansion into GCC markets in 2026.

The acquisition of EXMGO aligns with the strategy to broaden its digital services. EXMGO specialises in SaaS solutions that allow pharmacies and medical businesses to launch branded applications and websites, manage inventory, handle payments, and interact directly with customers.

Following the deal, the company relaunched the service under the name “Duaya Go”, upgrading it with advanced features to create a more seamless digital ecosystem.

“The acquisition of EXMGO is part of our strategy to serve a larger segment of pharmacies and medical companies,” said Dr. Ahmed Fazara, Founder and CEO of Duaya. “It reflects our clear vision to digitise pharmacies and transform traditional sales operations into platform-based digital processes.”

Duaya: Combining Strengths for Market Impact

For EXMGO, the partnership represents an opportunity to scale its technology to thousands of new clients. “Joining Duaya marks a significant leap,” said Eng. Islam Nasr, CEO of EXMGO.

“With Duaya’s potential and resources, we can now serve pharmacies more effectively and support their transformation to e-commerce rapidly and efficiently.”

The integration expands the portfolio beyond B2B supply and software solutions into direct-to-consumer e-commerce. It also strengthens the company’s positioning as a comprehensive provider of healthcare technology, encompassing medical supplies, software, artificial intelligence, and pharmacy digitization.

The move follows Duaya’s participation in the Shark Tank programme in 2024, after which it secured new investment to scale innovation and expand its service offering.

This momentum has helped the company grow into the only platform in MENA that covers clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacies within a single system, supported by its dedicated software department.

By acquiring EXMGO and launching Duaya Go, the company is doubling down on its mission to digitise healthcare, improve efficiency in medical supply chains, and position Egypt — and eventually the wider region — as a leader in digital healthcare transformation.
