e& UAE has launched OneWork, a sovereign cloud communications platform hosted and managed entirely within the UAE, enabling secure and compliant enterprise collaboration.

The new platform provides a unified suite of enterprise communication tools, including voice, video conferencing, messaging, file sharing, and collaboration capabilities, all delivered through infrastructure located in the UAE.

The launch comes as businesses and government entities place increasing emphasis on data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and secure digital transformation.

Developed, hosted, and operated entirely within the country, OneWork is designed to ensure that enterprise communications, data, and workloads remain in-country. The platform targets both public and private sector organizations seeking a secure, scalable, and compliant communications infrastructure without sacrificing performance or flexibility.

“OneWork represents a significant milestone in delivering sovereign digital capabilities within the UAE,” said Ali Al Raqabani, Vice President of Service Delivery & Back Office at e& UAE.

“As organizations increasingly prioritize data residency, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience, OneWork offers a platform that is built locally, hosted locally, and managed locally. This solution not only enables seamless and secure communication but also reinforces our commitment to supporting the UAE’s digital economy with services aligned to national priorities and market needs.”

OneWork’s cloud telephony functionality allows organizations to migrate existing national PSTN numbers to the cloud, enabling the modernization of legacy communication systems while maintaining service continuity. The platform also provides dedicated site connectivity to support reliable, enterprise-grade voice and collaboration services.

Built on e& UAE’s sovereign cloud infrastructure, OneWork supports high-availability communications across devices and locations. The platform is also designed to accommodate advanced cloud contact center requirements, enabling organizations to consolidate communications and customer engagement capabilities within a single environment.

Delivered as a fully managed service, OneWork eliminates the need for multiple vendors and extensive on-premises hardware deployments. The company said the platform can help organizations reduce infrastructure complexity, lower capital expenditure requirements, and scale communications services more efficiently as business needs evolve.

The launch reflects growing demand for sovereign cloud solutions across the Gulf as governments and enterprises seek greater control over data, communications, and critical digital infrastructure. Data residency requirements are becoming increasingly important as organizations adopt cloud technologies while navigating evolving regulatory frameworks.

For e& UAE, OneWork strengthens its position as a digital transformation partner for enterprises and public sector institutions. The platform also supports the UAE’s broader ambitions to build secure, locally governed digital infrastructure capable of supporting economic growth, innovation, and emerging technologies.

As organizations accelerate cloud adoption and modernize communications systems, sovereign cloud platforms such as OneWork are expected to play an increasingly important role in balancing digital transformation objectives with security, compliance, and operational resilience requirements.
