The Cairo-based startup aims to provide cost-effective, locally tailored robotic solutions as an alternative to imported systems, targeting manufacturers seeking to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
According to the company, its in-house approach, covering mechanical design, electronics, control systems, and AI software, enables it to deliver robotic systems at significantly lower costs.
Hamza El-Sahiti, COO of Raedbots, said the company’s vertically integrated model can reduce automation costs by up to 50%, while offering solutions optimized for regional industrial environments.
Raedbots is developing a range of “smart industrial robots” powered by AI, including robotic arms, collaborative robots (cobots), and high-speed automation systems.
The company said its platforms combine proprietary hardware with AI-driven software to improve precision, efficiency, and operational uptime for industrial clients.
Raedbots is part of the NVIDIA Inception, giving it access to advanced simulation and AI tools to accelerate product development.
It is also supported by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as part of broader efforts to strengthen Egypt’s deep-tech ecosystem.
The company is currently working with factories, industrial partners, and research institutions to deploy its robotic systems while expanding its product portfolio and manufacturing capacity.
Why Egypt’s Raedbots Matters to MENA
The launch highlights a growing push toward localised industrial automation in MENA, where manufacturers are increasingly seeking affordable, region-specific solutions.
By building robots locally, companies like Raedbots could reduce reliance on imported systems and accelerate digital transformation across the region’s industrial sector.
