Foodics Launches “Forward Together” to Support GCC, Egypt F&B

Foodics has launched a new initiative, “Forward Together,” aimed at supporting restaurant operators across the GCC and Egypt as the sector faces rising costs and tightening margins.

The program is designed to help food and beverage businesses manage short-term pressures while improving operational resilience. It focuses on three areas: financial flexibility, revenue enablement, and data-driven decision-making.

As part of the initiative, Foodics is offering flexible payment terms on its subscription services for both new and existing customers, providing operators with greater liquidity during periods of cost pressure.

The company is also granting access to selected digital tools at no cost, including its online ordering website and self-ordering kiosk solutions. These are intended to help restaurants expand digital sales channels without additional upfront investment.

In addition, participating businesses will receive access to AI-powered tools designed to deliver predictive insights and improve operational efficiency. Availability and duration of these benefits are subject to company terms.

Ahmad AlZaini, co-founder and chief executive of Foodics, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting a sector that plays a significant role in regional economies and employment.

Industry data highlights the scale of the opportunity. The foodservice market in Egypt is valued at approximately $11.8 billion, while the GCC market is estimated at around $70 billion, with both expected to grow significantly over the coming years as demand and digital adoption increase.

Founded in 2014, Foodics has processed billions of orders through its platform and continues to expand its footprint across the region. Through its fintech arm, Foodics Pay, the company has also secured a licence from the Saudi Central Bank, enabling it to provide regulated financial services to merchants.

The launch of “Forward Together” underscores a broader trend of technology platforms supporting operational efficiency in the F&B sector, as businesses increasingly adopt digital tools to navigate cost pressures and drive growth.

Why Foodics Matters to MENA

The initiative by Foodics reflects growing pressure on the food and beverage sector across the GCC and Egypt, where rising costs and tighter margins are reshaping operations.

By offering flexible payments, digital sales tools, and AI-driven insights, Foodics is positioning itself as more than a software provider, moving into infrastructure support for restaurant businesses.

The move also highlights a broader regional shift toward tech-enabled resilience in traditional sectors, as operators increasingly rely on platforms to manage costs, drive revenue, and stay competitive in a challenging economic environment.
