Globant, the Argentina-founded, digitally native company known for reinventing businesses through cutting-edge technology, has officially inaugurated its Middle East regional headquarters in Riyadh, marking a major milestone in its expansion strategy.
Having entered the region less than three years ago, Globant’s latest move reflects its ambition to play a central role in the Middle East’s digital reinvention, particularly through AI-powered solutions and localized digital experiences.
“Reinvention is Globant’s core identity,” said Martín Migoya, Co-founder and CEO. “Through the opening of our new Middle East headquarters in Riyadh, we have the honor of applying our talent to be a part of Saudi Arabia’s reinvention story as well.”
Migoya praised the promise of the Kingdom’s young tech talent, which the company sees as a key driver of innovation and growth in the evolving digital economy.
Globant Strategic Growth in a Dynamic Market

With its new base in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the company plans to scale AI-driven innovation for both public and private sector clients across key verticals including:
- Media and Entertainment
- Financial Services
- Travel and Leisure
- Gaming
As part of its long-term commitment, Globant will also invest in training local IT professionals through advanced AI courses, aiming to develop the next generation of AI Architects and Engineers in the Kingdom.
“This new hub will allow us to better serve leading organizations in the region, leveraging our expertise in AI, data, and cloud technologies,” said Federico Pienovi, CEO & CBO of New Markets at Globant.
“We also see this Centre of Excellence evolving to export talent and best practices globally, further positioning Saudi Arabia as a global tech hub.”
Globant’s local leadership reinforced the company’s alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s national strategy to diversify the economy through innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
“Riyadh’s vibrant tech ecosystem presents an unparalleled opportunity for us,” said Mamdouh Aldoubayan, Managing Director for MENA at Globant.
“We’re committed to fostering local talent, building partnerships, and delivering transformative technology solutions that advance human progress.”
Innovation Meets Experience: The Playground
The new HQ also features Globant’s third global “Playground”, an immersive technology experience center following successful launches in São Paulo and Los Angeles. The space offers interactive tech showcases, including:
- “The Perfect Pit Stop”, a sci-fi VR team challenge simulating a Formula 1 pit crew.
- High-tech basketball and soccer simulators, designed to gamify performance, precision, and strategy.
The Playground is designed to inspire collaboration and bring tech leaders closer to next-generation innovations at the intersection of AI, sports, and customer engagement.
The Riyadh HQ strengthens Globant’s global footprint and underscores its confidence in the region’s innovation potential, as the company positions itself as a key enabler of digital reinvention across the Middle East.
