Nowlun, a digital shipping platform operating in the MENA region, has announced securing $1.7 million in a seed funding round led by Nama Ventures and A15.
Sanabil 500 Global and prominent angel investors participated in the round. This funding supports the company’s plans to expand its operations and enhance its innovative logistics technologies.
Launched in 2021, Nowlun aims to deliver innovative technological solutions that bring a paradigm shift to the shipping industry.
The platform offers instant, transparent, and competitive freight rates while simplifying shipment management through an integrated system that allows real-time cargo tracking and proactive issue resolution.
Nowlun was founded by three logistics industry experts: Moataz Khamis, CEO; Mahmoud Khaled, CTO; and Ahmed Emara, COO.
Since its inception, the shipping platform has established itself as a key player in the regional logistics market. It integrates with all major shipping lines, providing businesses with direct access to instant sea freight rates.
The shipment management system boasts a comprehensive control tower that enables users to track shipments in real time; receive instant notifications about shipment status; and address issues proactively to avoid delays.
