The collaboration will integrate Marvell into its AI factory and AI-RAN ecosystem through its NVLink Fusion platform, enabling customers to build scalable and semi-custom AI infrastructure with greater flexibility.
Under the agreement, Marvell will contribute custom XPUs and NVLink Fusion-compatible networking technologies, while the company will provide core infrastructure components, including its Vera CPU, ConnectX network interface cards, BlueField data processing units, NVLink interconnect, Spectrum-X switches, and rack-scale AI compute systems.
NVLink Fusion is designed as a rack-scale platform that supports heterogeneous AI environments, allowing enterprises to integrate custom silicon with NVIDIA’s broader ecosystem. This approach enables compatibility across compute, networking, and storage layers, while leveraging its global supply chain and software stack.
The partnership also extends to telecommunications infrastructure. Both companies will collaborate on deploying AI-driven network capabilities using its Aerial AI-RAN platform, supporting the evolution of 5G and future 6G networks into AI-enabled systems.
In addition, NVIDIA and Marvell will jointly develop advanced optical interconnect and silicon photonics technologies to improve data transfer speeds and efficiency within large-scale AI data centers.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said demand for AI inference and token generation is accelerating, driving the need for scalable AI infrastructure. Marvell CEO Matt Murphy added that the partnership strengthens capabilities in high-speed connectivity and custom silicon required for next-generation AI systems.
The agreement reflects increasing industry focus on building high-performance, energy-efficient infrastructure to support large-scale AI workloads.
Why NVIDIA Marvell Partnership Matters to MENA
The partnership signals accelerating global investment in AI infrastructure. For MENA, it reinforces the importance of building local data centers, telecom upgrades, and sovereign AI capabilities to stay competitive in the AI economy.
