The funding will support regional expansion, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, while also strengthening product development and operational capabilities in existing markets.
Founded in 2016 by Adnan Alshuaili and Awadh Al Shukaili, the company is a tech-enabled mobility startup focused on improving the safety, efficiency, and transparency of school transportation. Its platform combines artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and real-time data to offer vehicle tracking, automated attendance, safety alerts, route optimisation, and operational oversight for schools, parents, and transport operators.
The company currently serves more than 150,000 students across public and private schools in Oman and Kuwait, working closely with schools, transport providers, and government entities.
“Globally, school transportation and related safety technologies represent a multi-billion-dollar market, driven by increasing focus on student safety, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation,” said Adnan Alshuaili, CEO of eMushrif. “By expanding into Saudi Arabia and the UAE, eMushrif can serve more students and schools, improve operator efficiency, and deliver real value and peace of mind to parents.”
The latest capital injection positions eMushrif to accelerate the adoption of smart mobility solutions in education systems across the Middle East, as governments and schools increasingly prioritize digital infrastructure and student safety.
