Founded in March 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azani, ShipBee provides an AI-powered logistics ecosystem designed to simplify shipping and delivery for both businesses and individual users.
The platform provides a unified solution for local and international logistics, combining a digital marketplace with mobile applications for customers and drivers, as well as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools for businesses managing delivery operations. Registered in the Qatar Free Zones ecosystem, the startup aims to modernize logistics infrastructure across the GCC and MENA markets.
ShipBee’s mobile applications enable users to book, track, and manage shipments digitally, while its SaaS tools allow companies to coordinate logistics operations, manage delivery flows, and improve operational efficiency.
The company has already established partnerships with several major logistics and technology organizations, including Qatar Post, global logistics provider DHL, and Chinese AI logistics company NEXX. It also collaborates with a network of local service providers and retail partners within the regional logistics ecosystem.
With the new funding, ShipBee plans to accelerate platform development, expand its team, and strengthen its technology infrastructure. The startup is also exploring deeper integration of artificial intelligence tools to automate operational processes, optimize delivery routes, and improve logistics efficiency.
As digital platforms continue to transform global supply chains, startups like ShipBee are positioning themselves as technology layers that connect fragmented logistics networks, helping businesses and consumers navigate increasingly complex shipping environments.
Why ShipBee Matters to MENA
Logistics remains one of the fastest-growing sectors in the Gulf’s digital economy, driven by e-commerce growth, cross-border trade, and smart infrastructure investments.
Platforms like ShipBee highlight how regional startups are using AI and digital marketplaces to connect fragmented delivery networks, improving efficiency for businesses and consumers. As GCC countries invest heavily in supply chain infrastructure and trade corridors, logistics technology companies could play a key role in enabling faster, more transparent delivery systems across the region.
