The Ripple Summit 2024 will be held this week in Alexandria, Egypt, between Tuesday, September 10, and Thursday, September 12, 2024.
This gathering marks a significant milestone as the inaugural event unites Entrepreneurship Enablers and Support Organizations, Incubators, Accelerators, and Entrepreneurship Centers, across Egypt and the MENA Region, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities for Entrepreneurship Support Organizations.
According to the organizers, AAST Entrepreneurship center (AAST EC) the aim is to “bring together leaders and stakeholders from various sectors to collaborate, share insights, and foster the growth of entrepreneurship ecosystems.”
The event begins on Tuesday with a networking dinner strictly by invitation, followed by panel discussions, speeches, workshops, and fireside chats scheduled for the other two days.
Speakers confirmed so far include: Hiyouki Suzuki (Senior Executive Vice President Representative -ATR), Niklas Geiss (Head of Startup Coaching – WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management), Chan Raffles (CEO – Global Innovation & Technology Platform), Adnan Maalaoui (Professor of Entrepreneurship – King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah), Naia Jang (CEO – Groove Round Inc), among many others.
The AAST Entrepreneurship Center (AASTEC) is a hub dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development, particularly among the youth in the Arab region and Africa. Established in 2015, the center operates under the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT). Its mission is to empower young entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources, training, mentorship, and support to create and grow sustainable businesses.
