Saudi Arabia’s Absher Platform Processes Over 24 Million E-Transactions in February

Saudi Arabia’s Absher electronic platform, managed by the Ministry of Interior, facilitated 24,266,498 electronic transactions in February 2025, catering to users through Absher Individuals and Absher Business portals.

The Individuals platform handled 21,993,417 transactions, including 14,597,218 document reviews via its digital wallet, which is accessible to citizens, residents, and visitors through the platform’s app. Meanwhile, the platform’s Business processed 2,273,081 transactions, supporting businesses with various administrative services.

A significant portion of the platform’s transactions included:

  • 3,010,233 transactions related to the General Directorate of Public Security
  • 2,904,774 transactions for the General Department of Traffic
  • 2,597,611 transactions connected to the General Directorate of Passports
  • 463,018 transactions linked to the Agency of the Ministry of Interior for Passports and Civil Affairs

Additionally, 89,012 document delivery requests were processed via mail, while 80,815 reports were issued. The platform also facilitated 1,762 general fingerprint inquiries under its public services category.

The Ministry of Interior has issued over 28 million unified digital identities through the platform, allowing users to securely access government and private sector services via Absher Individuals, the platform’s Business, Absher Government, and the National Unified Access Portal (Nafath).

The platform continues to play a key role in Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation, enhancing efficiency, security, and accessibility across multiple government services.
