Sehaty Raises $5M to Expand Telemedicine and AI Healthcare in MENA

Sehaty raises $5M to scale telemedicine and AI healthcare across MENA, expanding services in Lebanon and planning entry into Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Beirut-based healthtech startup Sehaty has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round to scale its telemedicine platform and expand AI-driven healthcare services across the MENA region.

The round was led by a regional healthcare-focused venture capital firm, as demand for digital healthcare solutions continues to grow across the region.

The startup operates an end-to-end telemedicine platform that connects patients with licensed doctors for virtual consultations and digital prescriptions.

The platform also offers integrated services such as medication delivery and mobile lab testing, providing a fully digital healthcare experience for users.

The model has gained traction in Lebanon, where ongoing healthcare system challenges have accelerated the adoption of remote care solutions.

Investment Targets AI and Specialist Care

The new funding will be used to expand Sehaty’s network of medical specialists, with a focus on mental health services and chronic disease management—two areas facing growing demand across MENA.

The company also plans to enhance its AI-powered symptom checker to improve patient triage and diagnostic accuracy.

Following its growth in Lebanon, Sehaty is planning expansion into Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, targeting larger markets with increasing investment in digital health infrastructure.

Why Sehaty Matters

The funding highlights continued investor interest in healthtech across MENA, particularly in scalable, AI-enabled platforms that improve access to care.

As healthcare systems across the region face capacity and accessibility challenges, telemedicine solutions like Sehaty are emerging as key enablers of more efficient and patient-centric care delivery.
