Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah: 50+ Countries at Qatar Economic Forum 2024

His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chairperson of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Qatar Economic Forum and CEO of Media City, announced that over 50 countries will participate in the fourth Qatar Economic Forum (QEF) from May 14 to 16.

In an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), he noted the forum’s emergence as a global hub for constructive discussions, emphasizing this year’s theme, “A World Remade: Navigating the Year of Uncertainty,” which underscores current global challenges.

The forum as described by him is a vital platform for addressing geopolitical risks, economic disruptions, and global trade and investment, welcoming CEOs, businessmen, thinkers, and influencers to Qatar to forge a shared vision for the future.

Hosted in Doha and powered by Bloomberg in partnership with Qatar Media City, the forum will bring together over 1,000 government and corporate leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue on key issues affecting global markets. Topics will include geopolitics, globalization, energy transition, technological innovation, and the outlook for business and investment, considering the significant implications of developments in 2024 for the global economy.
