Dubai-based startup The Game Company (TGC) has officially launched its AI-powered cloud gaming platform during Dubai AI Week, marking a milestone moment for the region’s gaming ecosystem.
Developed entirely in Dubai, the platform is a direct contribution to the Dubai Programme for Gaming 2033, a national strategy aiming to position the emirate as a global gaming powerhouse.
The Game Company’s platform delivers over 1,300 AAA games straight from the cloud, giving players console-quality performance on any device—no hardware upgrades, downloads, or installations needed.
Powered by custom-built AI architecture, the service optimises GPU use, leverages predictive forward buffering for seamless play, and is designed to be cloud-agnostic, meaning it performs smoothly regardless of infrastructure.
“It’s a proud moment to see a product of this calibre launched from Dubai, for the world,” said Faisal Kazim, Head of Dubai Programme for Gaming 2033. “The launch of TGC’s cloud gaming platform highlights the power of AI to transform industries, augment human creativity, and unlock new creative economies.”
The Game Company: From local roots to global reach
Osman Masud, Founder and CEO of TGC, described the platform not just as a gaming service, but as part of a much larger movement. “Gaming is not just entertainment. It is culture, economy, and infrastructure. We have built the foundation for a new generation of gaming and we are proud to launch it here in Dubai,” he said.
“Dubai gave us the platform and belief. We are proud to showcase a homegrown product that is setting a new global benchmark.”
Early traction has been strong. During its alpha testing phase, The Game Company attracted over 43,000 registrations and onboarded 10,000 gamers, reflecting rising demand for high-quality cloud gaming in the region.
The startup is backed by a roster of major tech partners, including Tencent Cloud, BytePlus (TikTok), Immutable, and Fetch.ai, giving it serious credibility as it gears up for broader rollout.
With The Game Company’s official launch, Dubai’s gaming sector just hit another level, combining AI, cloud infrastructure, and local innovation to challenge the global status quo.
