Three participants at the Qatar Science & Technology Park Ride & Pitch competition, have distinguished themselves to emerge as winners. In first place, we had Shugyla Karshygakyzy, in second Muhammad Saad, and in third Lujain Al-Emadi.
The event which spanned three days, 12-14 September, 202, featured a first-of-its-kind pitch competition where participants’ business ideas were put to the test on a moving tram.
Asking the selected students to present AI-powered solutions for real-world problems on a bustling tram was intentional, symbolizing the unpredictable journey of entrepreneurship.
Although participants faced various challenges, including noise, vibrations, and constant movement, this setting tested their composure and ability to deliver clear and compelling pitches amid the chaos.
Announcing the winners on their social media platform, QSTP said, “And that’s a wrap! The final day of our Ride & Pitch competition was filled with innovative pitches and enthusiastic participants.
“In first place, we had Shugyla Karshygakyzy, in second Muhammad Saad, and in third Lujain Al-Emadi. A big congratulations to our winners and all the participants today!”
The winners went home with prizes such as:
