Zain Bahrain and Ericsson have expanded their strategic partnership to deploy advanced 5G edge solutions aimed at accelerating Industry 4.0 adoption across the Kingdom. The collaboration introduces Ericsson’s Local Packet Gateway (LPG) with Edge User Plane technology, strengthening Bahrain’s network capabilities and supporting its ambition to build a sustainable, innovation-led digital economy.

The deployment enhances Zain Bahrain’s 5G network by delivering ultra-low latency, improved resilience, and secure traffic handling, enabling faster and more efficient data processing at the network edge.
