On Sunday, May 26, three Algerian teams achieved remarkable success at the international Huawei ICT competition held in China, securing three prestigious awards.
The competition, hosted by Huawei in Shenzhen, China, attracted participants from across the globe, with the Algerian teams standing out for their remarkable performance.
The Network and Cloud teams clinched the Grand Prize, while the Computing team earned the First Prize. Notably, this marks the fifth consecutive year that Algeria has secured top positions in this esteemed competition.
Extending congratulations to the students in a heartwarming message, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said, “I am proud of my sons and the students from the universities of Béjaïa, Sidi Bel Abbès, Oran, Algiers, and Batna, who once again distinguished themselves by securing first place globally in the Huawei competition. Congratulations to Algeria and this scientific generation that is paving the way for a secure future.”
