Founded in Canada, the startup participated through Startup Saudi under the Invest Saudi platform, with support from the Sanabel programme run by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The backing positioned Plantafarm on a national stage, increasing its visibility among regional investors and policymakers.
Plantafarm develops smart, sustainable farming systems for residential and commercial use, offering controlled growing environments that optimise water use and space efficiency. The technology is designed for urban settings and water-stressed regions, aligning closely with food security priorities across MENA.
