Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the EDGEx 2025 International Education Exhibition will be held from April 13–16, 2025, in Riyadh.
Also, the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI 2025) Conference will take place concurrently on April 13–14, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.
These events together will form the Human Capability & Education Week, a unique platform to unleash the full potential of human capital and drive education advancement.
The events are being done under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee.
This year’s conference is themed “Beyond Readiness” and focuses on strategic pillars to empower and develop human capital, including:
- Harnessing emerging technologies to foster a lifelong learning environment that keeps pace with global challenges.
- Promoting values and inclusive growth to support community development and national progress.
- Enabling partnerships and opportunities to foster sustainable solutions that shape a better future for the Kingdom and the world.
The theme reflects the event’s commitment to move beyond traditional preparedness toward actively shaping a future driven by empowered talents and innovation.
Education Global Exhibition “EDGEx 2025”
Organized by the Ministry of Education, EDGEx 2025 presents a global opportunity to build academic partnerships, enhance the quality of education, and elevate international competitiveness.
The exhibition brings together leading local and global universities and innovative companies to showcase cutting-edge solutions – including AI-powered educational technologies – opening new horizons for investment in the education sector and supporting Vision 2030 objectives.
The exhibition includes interactive workshops and knowledge-sharing activities, offering a platform to exchange insights and highlight success stories in education transformation.
This year’s edition comprises four key tracks, each addressing a distinct aspect of education innovation:
- EDGEx Tech: A showcase of advanced educational technologies, connecting educators with the latest innovations and offering immersive experiences for students and families, including smart learning applications and university guidance.
- EDGEx Edu: A platform for academic research and knowledge exchange, highlighting the role of scientific collaboration and innovation in enhancing education outcomes.
- EDGEx Talks: A series of engaging sessions exploring how technology is transforming education, with a focus on innovation, accessibility, and personalized learning models.
- EDGEx Skills: Thematic workshops designed to enhance educational skills and foster knowledge exchange among educators, innovators, and tech developers.
The conference and exhibition are expected to attract over 12,000 attendees, including experts, professionals, and stakeholders in the fields of education and human development.
More than 300 global speakers from governments, private sectors, NGOs, and think tanks will share best practices, policy insights, and international success stories.
