Flipspaces Eyes MENA Growth with Series C Backing

Flipspaces, the tech-driven interior design and build company, has secured a significant boost to its global expansion strategy after CE-Invests, the investment arm of Crescent Enterprises, joined its USD 50 million Series C funding round. The round also included backing from Singapore’s Panthera Growth Partners and Japan’s SMBC Asia Rising Fund.

Founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Muchhal, Vikash Anand, and Mrinal Sharma, Flipspaces has built a reputation for digitising the commercial interior design and construction process through AI-powered platforms.

Operating across India and the US, the company is now positioning the UAE as its launchpad for wider MENA expansion, where demand for innovative workspace and commercial interiors is accelerating.

“Flipspaces is uniquely positioned to bridge the Asia–UAE–USA innovation corridor, combining technology with design expertise to create scalable interior solutions,” said Ghada Abdelkader, Senior Vice President of CE-Invests.

AI-Powered Design Meets Regional Ambition

With the new capital, Flipspaces plans to double down on its AI-driven interior design software, strengthen its supply chain, and pursue acquisitions of established firms in the UAE, US, and India.

By integrating its technology with local construction and design firms, the company aims to improve efficiency, enhance profitability, and deliver more personalised, scalable interior solutions for clients across regions.

“We aim to expand into new geographies, advance our AI software for design and build, and drive inorganic growth by acquiring strong legacy companies in the US, UAE, and India,” said Kunal Sharma, Founder and CEO of Flipspaces.

A Gateway to MENA’s Booming Design Sector

The investment follows Flipspaces’ earlier USD 35 million round, which also signalled ambitions to accelerate growth across India, the US, and the UAE.

As the region’s property, commercial, and construction markets scale under Saudi Vision 2030 and the UAE’s innovation-led growth agenda, Flipspaces’ entry is set to disrupt the interior design supply chain with AI-enabled solutions.

By anchoring itself in the UAE, Flipspaces is not only tapping into one of the world’s most dynamic real estate hubs but also creating a pathway into the wider MENA design and construction market, poised for digital transformation.
