The largest privately-owned automotive brand by a Chinese firm, Geely, has launched one of its most innovative SUV’s in Qatar.
Skyline Automotive, the exclusive distributor for Geely Auto in Qatar and part of the Jaidah Group, unveiled the Geely Starray, its flagship SUV, at a launch event in Doha on January 24.
The event was held at Downtown Msheireb, a venue renowned for its seamless fusion of traditional design and contemporary sustainability, mirroring Geely’s dedication to blending heritage with modern innovation.
The Geely Starray represents a leap in automotive design and technology, featuring a striking combination of futuristic aesthetics and celestial motifs.
It is built on the state-of-the-art Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) developed at the China Euro Vehicle Technology Centre (CEVT) in Gothenburg, which underpins Geely’s advanced Global Industry 4.0 product development system.
CMA is dedicated to creating premium, high-value, and high-performance vehicles that excel in safety, mobility, intelligence, and design. With a new generation of expertly built models offering broad appeal across various dimensions, CMA is set to support Geely in designing and producing top-tier cars, enhancing its position as one of the most competitive automakers globally.
