The 5th edition of the Poland-Qatar New Tech Forum will take place in Warsaw tomorrow, featuring the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations. PaweÅ‚ KuÅ‚aga, Chairman of the Qatar-Poland Business Council, emphasized the forum’s importance, stating that it coincides with H.H. Amir’s official visit and aims to promote innovation and technological advancements with robust support from key organizations in both countries.

The event will focus on critical sectors for Polish-Qatari collaboration, particularly transportation and logistics, showcasing leading companies such as Qatar Airways and LOT Polish Airlines, as well as port operators like QTerminals, which is making a historic investment in Poland. Additionally, discussions on emerging technologies will provide a platform for signing significant bilateral agreements.

Kułaga noted that panel discussions will cover transportation, logistics, artificial intelligence, and present value propositions from both countries. One key agreement will support the incubation of Polish startups in Qatar and vice versa, involving the Qatar Science and Technology Park and Kielce Technology Park, along with the Qatar-Poland Business Council.

The forum is organized by the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Invest Qatar, and the Polish Embassy in Doha. It is partnered with the Qatari Businessmen Association, the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Qatar-Poland Business Council.

This year, the forum will host about 80 Polish tech companies, showcasing Poland’s strengths in sectors like IT services, artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, and more. Poland’s advancements in biotech, health tech, smart cities, IoT, renewable energy, and robotics highlight its role as a vital hub for innovation, similar to Qatar’s thriving ecosystem.

Previously held in Qatar, this year’s forum marks the first time it will be held in Warsaw, signaling a new chapter in international cooperation. KuÅ‚aga expressed excitement about showcasing Poland’s beauty, particularly in the picturesque setting of Warsaw’s historic Old Town, making it an attractive destination for visitors from the Gulf.
