
WakeCap, a Saudi-based construction tech pioneer, has secured $28 million in Series A funding to scale its AI-powered, real-time site intelligence solutions globally.
UP led the funding round announced during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum. Partners, with backing from Graphene Ventures and a network of strategic investors from the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Asia.
This milestone investment strengthens WakeCap’s mission to digitize one of the world’s most traditional industries by combining wearable IoT technology and AI to deliver smarter, safer, and more efficient construction project management.
Founded in 2017 by Dr. Hassan Albalawi and Ishita Sood, WakeCap provides a sensor-driven platform that tracks workforce performance, safety metrics, and site productivity, enabling real-time, data-informed decisions for project managers.
To date, WakeCap has tracked over 150 million worker hours across $80 billion in high-value construction projects.
Its solutions are already in use on mega-developments including NEOM, Aramco, King Salman Park, and Qiddiya, as well as projects in the UAE, USA, and Japan.
