In a strategic move to bolster Saudi Arabia’s digital financial ecosystem, Alinma Bank, in partnership with Falak Investment, has launched AmadTech, a FinTech-focused accelerator program aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fast-tracking financial innovation across the Kingdom.
AmadTech aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering a new generation of homegrown FinTech solutions, supporting startup growth, and unlocking the commercial potential of local innovations.
AmadTech: A Three-Pronged Strategy for FinTech Growth
The accelerator is built around three core tracks:
- Startup Acceleration: Targeting 20 high-potential FinTech startups, the program will offer intensive mentorship, hands-on business support, and exposure to a network of investors and ecosystem enablers.
- IP Commercialization: AmadTech will support the transformation of 15 locally registered intellectual properties into viable, market-ready solutions, bridging the gap between innovation and industry application.
- University Innovation: In collaboration with organizations like Mawhiba, the program will engage Saudi university students and researchers in developing real-world FinTech applications, further embedding innovation in academic settings.
In addition to these core tracks, AmadTech will offer specialized workshops, mentoring sessions, and awareness campaigns, culminating in a high-profile Demo Day where participants will pitch their solutions to stakeholders and potential investors.
Powering Saudi’s FinTech Future
The initiative is supported by a coalition of strategic partners, including Fintech Saudi and the Mawhiba Program, who will provide critical resources, industry insights, and platform access to participants.
Speaking on the launch, representatives from Alinma Bank and Falak emphasized the importance of collaborative innovation in shaping the future of finance in Saudi Arabia.
AmadTech is expected to play a significant role in expanding the national FinTech footprint, creating new job opportunities, and driving digital transformation across the financial sector.
