The MENA Innovation Academy, an initiative by Bahrain FinTech Bay in partnership with Reboot Coding Institute, has opened registration for its upcoming Applied Design Thinking workshop.
The immersive two-day experience, designed in collaboration with Qubstudio, will take place on August 27–28 in Bahrain, bringing global design frameworks to the region’s top innovation minds.
From product managers and founders to UX designers and business analysts, the program targets professionals who want to turn user insights into tangible business results.
The curriculum, based on the same methodologies used by Google, Apple, and IBM, blends hands-on challenges with expert-led instruction.
Design Thinking: A Toolkit for Innovation in a Changing Region
What sets this workshop apart is its focus on real-world impact. “Design thinking is a mindset,” says Lisa Kukharska, Senior Product Designer at Qubstudio. “We’ve seen this approach drive creativity and results, even in highly traditional industries. We’re excited to bring it to Bahrain.”
Over the two days, participants will master the five key stages of design thinking, apply them to a real banking industry challenge, and walk away with not just a certificate, but a toolkit to lead innovation within their organisations.
