Magna AI and Saudi Xerox Partner on Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Magna AI and Saudi Xerox Partner on Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Magna AI and Saudi Xerox have partnered to develop sovereign AI infrastructure, AI data centres, and secure enterprise AI platforms in Saudi Arabia.

The strategic collaboration was formalised during the Global AI Show 2026 in Riyadh by Magna AI Chief Executive Officer Dr. Moataz BinAli and Saudi Xerox General Manager Mehmet Sezer.

The partnership will focus on developing AI data centres, sovereign AI Factory capabilities, secure AI platforms, and enterprise AI solutions for government and private-sector organisations.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which prioritises digital transformation, AI adoption, and the development of locally controlled technology infrastructure.

The agreement comes as Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure market continues to expand rapidly. According to Mordor Intelligence, the Kingdom’s AI data centre market is projected to grow from USD 630 million in 2025 to USD 1.74 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 22%.

Growth is being driven by increased government investment in digital infrastructure, data sovereignty requirements, and rising demand for locally hosted AI workloads.

“Saudi Arabia is building one of the most ambitious national AI agendas in the world, and that requires infrastructure with governance and security built in, shaped around the organisation’s own requirements rather than a vendor’s defaults,” said Dr. Moataz BinAli, Chief Executive Officer of Magna AI.

“By combining Magna AI’s full value-chain AI Factory capabilities with Saudi Xerox’s strong local presence, we can help government and enterprise organisations move from AI ambition to AI at scale on infrastructure they own and control.”

Under the partnership, Magna AI will lead AI Factory architecture, platform development, AI security, and governance frameworks, while Saudi Xerox will oversee local infrastructure integration, security operations, regulatory compliance, and deployment across Saudi Arabia.

The companies also plan to collaborate on sovereign AI Factory development for large-scale model training, fine-tuning, inference, agentic AI operations, and data pipeline management.

Additional areas of focus include secure AI operations that comply with Saudi data residency and cybersecurity regulations, industry-specific AI applications for government and enterprise customers, and AI skills development initiatives.

“Saudi Xerox is committed to supporting the Kingdom’s digital transformation through advanced IT, cloud, managed services, and cybersecurity capabilities,” said Mehmet Sezer, General Manager of Saudi Xerox.

“This collaboration combines Magna’s AI platform and security expertise with our local execution capabilities, enabling organisations to deploy advanced AI securely, compliantly, and in line with national regulatory requirements.”

Magna AI is serving as the title sponsor of the Global AI Show 2026, where the company is showcasing its sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI platforms, security technologies, and industry-specific AI solutions.

The partnership reflects the growing emphasis on sovereign AI across the Gulf as governments increasingly invest in locally governed AI infrastructure that supports national security, regulatory compliance, and long-term digital resilience.

As Saudi Arabia expands its AI ecosystem, collaborations between global technology providers and local partners are expected to play a central role in building the infrastructure needed to support next-generation government services, enterprise innovation, and industrial digital transformation.

Why Magna AI and Saudi Xerox Partnership Matters to MENA

The partnership underscores Saudi Arabia’s accelerating investment in sovereign AI infrastructure as the Kingdom seeks to build AI capabilities that are locally hosted, securely governed, and aligned with national regulations.

As AI adoption expands across government and industry, demand for domestic AI infrastructure is becoming a strategic priority.

For MENA, the collaboration reflects a broader regional shift from simply adopting AI applications to investing in the foundational infrastructure that powers them. Sovereign AI factories, data centres, and secure AI platforms are emerging as critical assets for achieving digital sovereignty, supporting national AI strategies, and positioning Gulf economies as global leaders in artificial intelligence under initiatives such as Saudi Vision 2030.
