TallyPrime 7.1 Launches UAE e-Invoicing and EmaraTax Integration

Tally Solutions has launched TallyPrime 7.1 in the UAE, introducing e-Invoicing readiness, direct EmaraTax integration and enhanced VAT compliance for businesses.

The update introduces three core enhancements for businesses: e-Invoicing readiness, API-based EmaraTax integration for VAT compliance, and expanded invoice personalization tools, enabling organizations to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements while simplifying day-to-day financial operations.

The launch comes as the UAE advances its digital transformation agenda through the phased implementation of e-Invoicing, aimed at creating a more connected, efficient, and transparent business environment.

TallyPrime 7.1 includes end-to-end support for UAE e-Invoicing workflows, guiding businesses through setup, EmaraTax registration, and compliance processes.

The software features built-in validation tools that identify missing or incorrect information before invoices are exchanged, helping businesses improve accuracy and reduce processing errors. Users can also choose between real-time invoice exchange and bulk processing, depending on operational requirements.

To support the UAE’s multilingual business community, the platform offers bilingual functionality in Arabic and English. It also incorporates two-factor authentication (2FA) using one-time passwords (OTPs) to enhance the security of e-Invoice transactions.

As an FTA-accredited VAT solution, TallyPrime 7.1 strengthens compliance by enabling businesses to access EmaraTax services directly from the platform.

Users can monitor filing status, download and reconcile Customs Import and Tourist Refund Scheme data, compare VAT returns with accounting records, and submit VAT 201 returns without leaving the application.

According to Tally Solutions, businesses using TallyPrime for VAT e-return filing have recorded an average improvement of more than 17% in filing efficiency through direct API integration with EmaraTax.

The latest release also introduces upgraded invoice customization features, allowing businesses to personalize invoices using logos, digital signatures, watermarks, and branded templates while maintaining standardized invoice formats.

“The UAE continues to set a strong benchmark in driving digital transformation initiatives that are creating a more connected and future-ready business environment,” said Vikas Panchal, Senior General Manager, MENA at Tally Solutions.

“As businesses prepare for the next phase of the country’s e-Invoicing journey, they need technology that not only supports evolving requirements but also works the way they do. TallyPrime 7.1 brings together e-Invoicing readiness, connected compliance through direct EmaraTax integration, and greater flexibility in everyday business operations.”

The company said the new release is designed to help organizations simplify compliance processes, improve operational efficiency, and remain aligned with the UAE’s evolving regulatory framework.

TallyPrime 7.1 is now available across the UAE, with existing customers able to upgrade immediately to access the new e-Invoicing, VAT compliance, reconciliation, security, and invoice customization features.

The launch reflects growing demand for business software that supports digital tax compliance as governments across the GCC continue modernizing financial reporting and regulatory systems.

Why TallyPrime 7.1 Matters to MENA

The launch reflects the rapid digitalisation of tax and financial compliance across the Gulf. As the UAE rolls out mandatory e-Invoicing, businesses increasingly need software that integrates directly with government platforms, automates compliance, and reduces administrative complexity.

For MENA, TallyPrime 7.1 highlights a broader regional shift toward digital tax ecosystems, where cloud accounting, e-Invoicing, and API-driven government services are becoming standard.

The move supports the UAE’s ambition to build a more transparent, efficient, and digitally connected economy while encouraging SMEs to accelerate their digital transformation.
